Omar's place was the best place I have ever experienced. The hostel is 10m away from the peer in the Island, and It was still walkable. The room was spacious and clean, everything was described as it is. Omar was very kind and showed great hospitality. I stayed his place for 2 nights and the breakfasts were perfect. I Definitely recommend his place and will visit it again.

We ended up extending our stay with Omar as we couldn't find better ! Even after we had left, Omar helped us find boat transportation to continue our travels. We highly recommend staying here as supposed to the rather more touristic Nubian Village further along the Nile. Where Omar is located is a lot more quiet and peaceful with no sound of passing tuk tuk's or external noise.

Our stay at Omar's has been perfect. We have been traveling for 6 months and needed a place to rest and re-energise, Omar's hospitality allowed us to do just that. He greeted us where the ferry arrives, helped with our bags and lead us to his place, where we were welcomed with a welcome grenadine juice. Everything was as shown in the pictures but I found it to be even more homely. Everything was clean, towels and soap were provided and the pillows were cloud-like. The temperature was hot outside but with the air-conditioning it was perfect. We didn't have to worry about mosquitoes as each window had mesh nets to prevent anything flying in, which allowed us to have fresh air at all times. Omar made sure we had everything we needed and offered us the most delicious breakfasts and dinner. The location is extremely peaceful, with only the sound of birds and nature outside. This was very needed after staying in Egypt's cities where you are overwhelmed by the sound of car horns.
