Lovely stay in the peace and quiet of nature, thank you! Lots of antique furnishings, very fun to look at. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching the action on the bayou.

The location of this home is incredible. We so thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the rocking chairs on the patio and enjoyed the deck over the water. The decor is truly unique, full of antiques. We rented the home for the location and history, not as much for the functionality of the kitchen, living room etc….It kind of feels like being in a museum. There is a bit of a musty smell due to the age and location, keep that in mind if you are sensitive to smells. We spent most of our time outside on the grounds. We enjoyed beignets from the Lamp Post Cafe and crawfish from Brown’s Boiling House on the back patio table. I definitely recommend staying here. One thing I wish was different was the camera on the back patio. I understand owners need to keep watch but felt a little uneasy with it being on while we were using the space.

Very nice spot on the bayou. Typical creole cottage with retro interior. Lauren was a great host.

We enjoyed our stay and were able to unwind and relax for our weekend Easter trip. This is a gorgeous home and the pictures do not do it justice! It is nestled next to the bayou surrounded by beautiful live oak trees, covered in moss. It looks like something out of a magazine. 😍 We definitely plan on booking again.
