This was not the right place for us but it’s a beautiful building. It’s literally right on the edge of the A1 with only a tiny slip road on which to make an entrance. The staff were really nice and helpful. Fantastic and welcoming service in person. Some of the bed furniture seemed unsafe and or inadequate and it was missing some cleaning details. Yet, the bed clothes seemed nice and clean and the hot water was lovely. The road noise wasn’t as bad as I feared and I did sleep well. I was quite anxious about merging back on to the A1 the following morning but we made it safely.

Great communication and very easy to stay.

Great accommodation in a very convenient location. We arrived late at night and received clear instructions as to what to do in the absence of anyone at reception. Room was clean and exactly as advertised.
