В самом начале, мы даже немного расстроились из-за шума от дороги, прям над которой находятся аппартаменты, но когда жара стала невыносима и спать без кондиционера с закрытыми окнами стало невозможно, да и мы привыкли за неделю к постоянно проезжающим дырчащим мопедам и грузовикам, все стало ок;) Андреас, как и его сын - Петрос отзывчивые и всегда откликаются и стараются помочь! Отличные хозяева! Так как мы с женой «немного надоели» друг-другу, то и то, что в хозяйской спальне кровать «кинг», но при этом с 2мя раздельными матрица, между которыми постоянно образовывается дырка - стало даже некой естественной границей в это жаркое время и мемом для ТикТок роликов :) прямо внизу находится семейная таверна, брата и мамы Андреаса, в которой всегда можно поужинать, нас и наших детей неоднократно угощали печеньками и конфетами (дети были в восторге) пару раз нам даже довелось наблюдать за торжествами и практически учавствовать на настоящей, аутентичной Греческой свадьбе, всю ночь мы наслаждались настоящими греческими песнями, под живую музыку👏🏼 отдельно хочется отметить песика по имени Миленио греческой породы- Кокони, который подарил нам кучу позитивных эмоций и радости, будем по нему очень скучать! В общем очень рекомендуем это место для отдыха с семьей, цена полностью соответствует 🤘🏼

Our overall experience was very good. We were greeted warmly by Andreas upon our arrival in Gonia. He showed us the apartment and made sure that we had everything we needed. The apartment was modern, renovated and well-equipped. Also, when we later had some problems with Wi-Fi, Andreas was able to help us quickly. He also gave us ideas of what to do in Crete during our one-week stay. The apartment is located in a small village away from the city hustle and bustle but still close enough to Rethymno, about 15 minutes’ drive. Below the apartment there is a tavern where we could enjoy delicious Cretan food. We also took advantage of the sunny terraces of the apartment and enjoyed a lovely breakfast there every morning. The apartment is along the main street of the village accompanied with some occasional traffic. There is also a small grocery store a step away from the apartment as well as a gas station, which were both useful for us. We had good time in Crete and the great apartment played its role in it. I had a great time staying in Andreas's flat in Gonia. The flat is located in a small village about 10-15 minutes drive from Rethymno so having a car is fairly essential. There are a few very nice taverns around it including one directly under the flat where you can order food that is delivered right to your flat. The flat itself is modern, very well furnished and decorated and in excellent condition with all the amenities required. We have arrived quite late and I unfortunately forgot to tell Andreas about the time of arrival but nevertheless Andreas has quickly arrived to let us in whilst we had a meal in the tavern and also offered us some wine! He was also very helpful in letting us know about the places to see, etc and in resolving any issues/questions that we had about the apartment. All in all an excellent experience. Would highly recommend!

Andreas' apartment is really amazing. It is equipped with everything you can imagine, even a hot tub. It is located above Andreas' taverna in the small village of Gonia, 15 minutes from the Rethimnon historic center and 10 minutes from the Cretan main road E75. So if you want to go on trips throughout this part of Crete, it's an ideal starting point for you. Communication with Andreas was really great. Andreas was also very kind, helpful and generous. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a carafe of local wine and Easter biscuits from his mother. In the fridge we had even basic groceries. Upon departure, we were gifted two bottles of Raki.
