A beautiful home with fantastic hosts! The pool and hot tub were a massive bonus for our friends trip up to Yorkshire. Only a half hour drive away from York, and 10 minutes from shops. Sue and Paul were so accommodating to what we needed and were always on hand for anything, with quick and helpful communication. The place was located near some beautiful walks for dogs, had a fantastic pizza oven and some fab animals walking around! We can’t wait to visit again! Would highly recommend a stay here for anyone!

Lovely property, plenty of room for the 9 of us. Pool was fantastic along with the pool table and ping pong, it was great to have these to ourselves during our allotted times. Also the hot tub was a great hit and felt very special at night with the fairy lights on. We also acquainted ourselves with the two horses, pigs and long horn heard, which our two boys absolutely loved. We spent Saturday lunchtime making our own pizzas in the ‘Shack’ which was good fun but harder than it looks!! All in all, there was something for everyone, a great few days.

A fantastic place to stay. Having the pool to use daily was enjoyed by all. We loved the pizza shack. Sue was very helpful with providing the dough and other bits we needed. House was lovely, well equipped.

We loved our stay. Beautiful accommodation and everything we needed in the house. A really well organised rota for the pool, but also flexible when other properties were vacant. Sue was also quick to respond to queries and requests for recommendations. A perfect location to explore surrounding areas. Thank you so much

We all loved Sue’s place-The Granary. The tree and Christmas decorations throughout made it feel very homely and festive. The house was always lovely and warm and the log burner made it so cosy. The large square lounge was so comfortable and perfect for being all together. The kitchen was very well stocked and the hamper was very much appreciated along with other extras provided. The bathrooms were lovely and clean and very new looking. We made full use of the pool and games room and loved the warm temperature of the water. The pizza shack (next door) was a real fun experience. Lovely “hot” hot tub which was enjoyed by all. Sue was very responsive at all times and nothing was too much trouble. We had a few trips out, to Thirsk, very close and charming, also Helmsley and a day out to Whitby and York. The week went too quickly and we all had such a good time. Thank you! A Christmas to remember
