Welcome to Falcon Cove Retreat, where the forest meets the sea on the Northern Oregon Coast. Drive through the tree lined road to our cozy TINY A-Frame cabin, nestled in the quiet Falcon Cove community of Arch Cape. We are in the Oswald West State Park with access to miles and miles of trails and two miles from infamous Short Sands Beach for surfing. Grill and relax on our huge new custom deck. Bring your well behaved dog (up to two with pet fee) to enjoy the beaches. Our cabin is a remodeled 1969 Midcentury Modern A frame. It is small and intimate, with lots of rustic charm and luxury linens and comforts. We have outfitted it with all the modern amenities you could ask for. Get away from the hustle and bustle as there is limited cell phone service in this area. If you must be connected we have outfitted the cabin with 1GB Wifi (but you don't have to tell anybody). The downstairs sleeping area has a luxurious queen mattress, the loft has another queen and a velvet double futon with twin fold out mattress. Please be aware that neither sleeping area is closed off with a door. Please let us know when you book the number of guests so we can provide enough linens. PLEASE NOTE: our amazing vintage cone fireplace is currently out of order, waiting for parts. There is plenty of heat with baseboard electric heaters throughout the cabin

Wonderful place! We loved the hot tub and sauna with just a short distance to the beach. Lots of fun areas to hike near by too! We were sent a guide that included local recommendations and very clear instructions on all amenities.
The Falcon Cove A-frame was a delight! Very cozy and clean. Easy to find, easy check-in and lots of easy to follow info in the guide provided by the host, who was your communicative during our stay. We appreciated the amenities, both practical (coffee maker, microwave, iron, blow dryer, etc) and fun (sauna, hot tub). Also loved that there were lots of games and blankets (and towels!). The walk to the beach was short and beautiful and it felt very private once we were there. Being so close to Manzanita was nice for shopping, eating out & getting groceries. Also being close to so many hikes was great. Being from Oregon I am always torn between getaways in the woods up toward Mt. Hood and the coast: this was the best of both worlds, being in a cabin in the woods that was a stones throw from the ocean.
Karen’s place was perfect for our getaway. Extremely clean, lovely location, amazing hot tub and sauna. Highly recommended.
Very cool little spot….Forest behind you and the beach within easy walking distance. Karen provides a great information booklet which helped immensely. Great getaway location for shutting off the electronics and phone and just enjoy nature!!
This place was great! Perfect mixture of forest and ocean. Good amenities - hot tub, hammock, sauna, outdoor shower, outdoor firpit and fire table. Karen provided a great guidebook that was very thorough. Couple of quirks - there were mice (it is a cabin in the woods after all) which we wouldn'tve noticed if one didn't get caught in a trap in the middle of the night making a lot of noise and scaring the heck out of us! haha. Clearly the host is doing what they can to control the pests, just be aware, and probably don't leave out food. Also, the back door doesn't securely latch unless you use the locking mechanism from the inside. So, make sure to either go out the front door or prop something up against it from the outside so it doesn't swing open. Overall, amazing relaxing stay with a great location. Would stay again!

Nestled in the pristine Falcon Cove on the North Oregon Coast. Close to Cannon Beach and Manzanita, but away from the crowds for a relaxing stay. We are actually in Oswald West State park with endless miles of walking trails.
