Jane and Neil’s Fisherman cottage is a fantastic place to stay to explore the area. The cottage was well equipped, clean and aesthetically pleasing. They have thought of everything you could need for a comfortable stay, including a lovely welcome gift. Cottage is well maintained and close to shops, restaurants and pubs in the area. Highly recommended a stay here, thank you Jane and Neil.

We had an amazing short stay, thank you! the place was beautifully decorated, and really cosy and felt like a home from home. Owls and bats on our evening walk along the stream and walking distance to beach! We can't wait to come back!!

An absolutely beautiful place, we felt at home the second we walked through the door. Neil met us upon arrival and showed us to the private parking space just behind the house. There was a very welcome ‘welcome hamper’ which included bubbly, chocolates and other treats; we were thrilled! The decor was really fitting for the house and gave it a clean, peaceful and spacious feel. Kitchen was well appointed with all the necessary equipment and utensils. Lots of really helpful local info left in the house and great verbal recommendations of where to eat and visit from Neil. Beds were so comfy and the bedding and towels smelled beautiful! The heating system was really easy to work and the house heated up very quickly. We visited Whitby and Saltburn which were around 15/20 minutes drive, Staithes 5/10 minute drive and Robin Hood’s Bay was around a 30 minute drive. The house is basically perfectly positioned to visit these places which are all well worth a visit - stunning! Thank you 😊
