Our family of 4 (2 kids, 2 adults) spent a week in the Chickadee and loved everything about it. It was the perfect home base for all of our Black Hills adventures. Bruce and Traci were amazing hosts and were available at all times for anything we needed. The location is central to just about everything in the area and the pool was an added bonus after some long, hot days! The Chickadee is clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need (and more). I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet camping experience without having to haul a trailer. UTV/ATV rentals were close by and the town restaurant was walkable. If we find ourselves in the Black Hills again, we will definitely come back!

Traci & Bruce were terrific hosts. The RV was comfortable and had everything needed for our trip. Bruce also added a washer & dryer adjacent to the RV which was an added benefit.

Bruce & Traci are lovely people! I would definitely recommend this location to all my family and friends. We enjoyed that it was centrally located to everything we wanted to see. After long days of sightseeing it was relaxing to come back to rest in our own relaxing location.

We had a fantastic time at the Chickadee! It was super clean and stocked with everything you’d need, and had a breathtaking view of the canyon. If you don’t prefer showers in a camper bathroom they have a pool/rec room nearby with a conventional shower/bathroom. Bruce was very responsive, helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a low-key, relaxing stay in Nemo!
