I’m so thankful I came across this home on Airbnb, it had everything I needed. The communication was super easy and quick and the house /rooms looked exactly like the pictures. I highly recommend staying at this property.

Our stay at the Oyster House, under the care of Ann was everything we hoped it would be. We were 2 couples with a combined 3 kids 5 and under and maximized our use of the pool by day and peace and quiet across the expansive outdoor living spaces once the kids went to bed. I don’t think the listing and photos quite convey just how much space you actually have when staying there as there was tons of room even inside with multiple sitting areas to escape if you were with a larger group. In general we kept to the house but you aren’t completely void of civilization and necessities in Bivalve. Joe’s far stand up the street has incredible produce that we made multiple purchases at and we were a keep to get some forgotten kids food items at a local store. We all talked throughout our short stay about coming back sometime and trying to make sure we stayed even longer. Can’t say enough great things about the property and host that made our getaway exceptional.

We had a great time at Oyster House. It was beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Everything exceeded our expectations. The home is super comfortable without feeling stuffy. Everything was clean and easily accessible. We had enough space for the eight of us to spend time together while also having several spots for any of us to enjoy our solitude, reading or napping. The pool and hammock were my personal favorite spots. Ann was responsive and very friendly. She spotted us while we were walking in Salisbury, and we got to chat for a little while. If you're looking to get away and find peace and relaxation, book The Oyster House! We hope to be back next year!!!
