We enjoyed family time, playing a lot of games, cooking/eating together and being outside as the weather allowed since it was mid-March (going for short walks and fishing from the shore was about all we could do). The home sits with a farm field to its west and the lake to its east. Nice for morning sunrises. It did get quite windy from the west, and at night there were items outside against the home rattling that woke us up some. There was ample cookware and dishes to use. Some hadn't been used in a while and needed a quick wash, but no big deal. The few warm days up to arriving and a bit while we were there must have drawn out the spiders, as there were several inside, as well as some tiny ants in the basement. This may bother some, but not others. It was nice to have the hot tub, which was very clean, to enjoy since we couldn't be in the lake this time of year and really fully enjoy all the property has to offer. Overall, we appreciated having the space for the five of us!

We had a nice weekend getaway from the cities. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was very popular considering the outside temperature remained below zero nearly the whole time we were there. Plenty of room for 7 adults. We would have loved to explore the outdoors but again, the temps did not allow. Someone came to shovel both mornings after a snowfall or blowing snow. We felt well cared for. We would definitely consider visiting in the summer.

Our second year staying here on Granite Lake! Yet another wonderful stay. The weather was perfect. We enjoyed everything this property has to offer! The fishing was great, lots of bass and few nice pike! We also journeyed into Cokato and had a great dinner at Bait & Hook Seafood. (10/10). We plan on returning next year! Cheryl, it was so nice to finally met you and have such a nice conversation. Thanks for everything! 😁

This was our second year staying at the cabin and we had a wonderful time (again)! Loved sitting on the deck, playing in the water, making s'mores at the fire pit and just hanging out inside too. We really appreciate having a wheelchair and dog-friendly place to rent in such a beautiful and convenient location. Great hosts. Highly recommend.
