Place was spotless and well equipped. Host was great and provided some treats! Cozy but everything we needed was there. Really enjoyed staying there for the eclipse!

James’s getaway is nice, clean and cozy with a beautiful waterfront. The place has everything you need for a great vacation. Store is walkable distance and every tourist attraction on the Bonavista peninsula is a short drive away.

Awesome stay at James’ place! Fabulous location right on the water! I stayed for three weeks and James was super kind and friendly - he even attended a show my colleagues and I put on in Port Union while so was there! Very close to Port Union and Bonavista, and a grocery store is just a minute away. There’s a beautiful and spacious fire pit right on the water and the sunsets and sun rises are stunning. Highlight of the trip was the family of six sea otters that jumped up on the wharf! The apartment was clean and tidy and had lots of nice touches. I recommend this stay!

Had the best time at James & Saffara place, the fresh cod was awesome , greatly appreciated it . Will miss them but looking forward to seeing them next summer . Great place 👌

Catalina itself is a tiny local (not touristy) town between Trinity and Bonavista — and this spot turned out to be just perfect for us. Quiet and peaceful, James’ place is right on a beautiful cove— it was just excellent to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The little fire pit was delightful and the view of the water unbeatable. Our hosts were friendly and generous— couldn’t have asked for more. (Comfy beds to boot!) {To James from my husband “So long and thanks for all the fish” !}
