The Lodge was clean and the fridge was very well stocked with water bottles, apple juice, fruit, yogurt, breakfast bars, butter, cream cheese, and bagels, so helpful and convenient. The area was beautiful and the beds were comfortable.

Close to wedding venue at Silver Hearth Lodge and nestled among the trees. Felt private even though it’s the lower level of a 2 story structure. Huge living space with nice gathering table where we enjoyed breakfast provided by host who graciously accommodated our multiple food allergies and had individual soufflés for each guest, dairy free creamers for coffee, gluten free bread for toast, and extra toiletries for guest use. We felt very catered to by host. Place was immaculate and we didn’t have any wifi issues here. Really enjoyed our stay here.

This was a great place to stay. We really enjoyed the outdoor trails and sights. We had a great time exploring and all of the trails were clearly labeled. Ideal for large families and friends. It was perfect for a graduating weekend at VA Tech!

We had a great stay at Apple's. We had the bottom floor of the lodge that is set up for either a retreat-type event or for family and friend stays. Beautiful location, and communications with the host were easy and positive. We were in town to see our son at VA Tech. Although the drive was long (we knew this ahead of time), it was a scenic drive. We also appreciate that proceeds from visits help to support kids attending camps there.

We loved our stay again this year. Everything is amazing. The space and breakfast was lovely (caboose last year… amazing as well). Very considerate of our needs. The hikes are so nice. Kids love playing around the camp. Highlight of our fall! We made it over to Sinkland farms which is just great for the kids.
