This is the third time we have stayed at the Apple Ridge Cabooses, and we absolutely love it! The area is so quiet and peaceful, and the caboose is well maintained and unique. The included breakfast is delicious, especially the mini quiches. We always get such good rest there also! We will be back!

My husband and I enjoyed our 2-night stay in the caboose. The bed was extremely comfortable, and my husband even said he wished we had that bed at home! The mini fridge was stocked with more than enough breakfast items for the 2 of us - oatmeal, toast, bagels, fruit, juice, quiche, Nutrigrain bars, and yogurt. The road getting up to the caboose is gravel and bumpy, however, my Honda Civic made it up and down fine. The area is quite remote and it's more of a peaceful/scenic location than a place with lots to do. We enjoyed the unique experience of staying in a caboose and the complimentary caboose keychain for us! The only cons were the 1 juice in the refrigerator was expired (less than a month), there was some dog hair on the linens (this is a dog-friendly booking and owning a dog myself, which we didnt bring along, we understand how hard it is to remove every dog hair in laundry!), and there were numerous ants in the caboose and we had to kill 2 hornet-like stinging bugs that got in.

We had an amazing stay! We appreciated all of the little things like crayons and coloring pages for my son as well as dog biscuits for our dog! The caboose was beautiful! We would love to come back some time!

My husband and I stayed the weekend and just loved the seclusion, wildlife, stocked fridge, and cozy bed! Also, the warm shower and water pressure were worth the weekend! We brought our well aged dog and we were so glad we did! Caboose #1 had a large deck that went right to the door, so our dog didn't have to go up or down steps. The morning fog was breathtaking against the mountains and the deer were plentiful. Definitely recommended for a nice getaway!
