What a wonderful experience! We were greated by Bear and all of the dogs upon arrival! Such a friendly pack of dogs! Dave was very friendly and easy to talk to! The cabin was just what we needed...peaceful, tranquil and the surroundings were full of wildlife! The goats and chickens were also a big plus!! Will definitely be back!!

I feel like this unique spot needs two seperate reviews to tell the whole story. The spot is beautiful, private, serene. Incredibly peaceful and quiet. The place is fantastic and David is awesome, very helpful and lightning quick responses. Above is the review of the house and the host but i need to also give a review to our real host, Bear. He met us as we pulled up and escorted us to the house and made sure we were safe throughout. Im not sure in limited space how to describe the best dog I've ever met but he is. Incredibly friendly without being annoying at all, the strong silent type with deep thoughtful eyes that describe his personality well. We were there to visit my son at college but his mother, who generally doesn't love dogs kept saying, "I can't wait to get home to Bear" That's probably the whole review in a quote, "can't wait to get home to Bear".

This was my first airbnb booking and I am so glad we stayed here instead of a hotel. David was a great host - responsive and down to earth. His directions were easy to follow and the location is so peaceful. I pre-prepped most meals but had a cooking fail so we had to leave for dinner the first night. We did not want to leave and even my 12 yr old was in a rush to get back!! As animal lovers, having the co-host, Bear, always nearby was the highlight of our time as well. The goats, chickens, and rooster were fun to watch. It was such a relaxing weekend, it was hard to leave. Overall, we would definitely recommend staying here if you love being in nature. We are looking forward to coming back :)
