Si vous avez besoin d'une coupure, cette endroit est incroyable. Les habitants de ce village sont adorables et nous ont proposés de se joindre à eux pour la fête de village. Activités : Si vous adorez randonnés et que vous aimez la nature, plusieurs balades sont à proximité immédiate. Elena pourra vous conseiller ! Hébergement : Maison vraiment mignonne mais non recommandés aux personnes à mobilités réduites (Escalier étroit et plafond bas.) Merci pour ce séjour qui a fait du bien.

Lovely little house in the super quiet village of Otivar. We stayed for a week which coincided with nispera harvesting (a little orange fruit). The kitchen was fully equipped and had a little counter top oven, toaster, fridge & microwave, coffee machine (pods provided), a washing machine, and an induction hob that took a little getting used to as we’d never used one before. The beds were comfy. The rooftop terrace was great for relaxing with a beer watching the birds swooping between the houses - and it was great for drying clothes!! The stairs in the house are a real workout, as are the steep streets in the village, so it’s not for the unfit or elderly. A car is essential to get up to Otivar and to travel out & about to surrounding towns for shopping, restaurants, a beach day etc. There is a market on Thursdays outside the bank selling fresh veg and fruit, all sorts of sundry supplies and even clothes - plus a truck that when opened on the side reveals it is cooking barbecue chickens!

The host is responsive and communicative, and provided an extremely helpful video for finding the place and checking in. She also did a great job of setting expectations by being very clear about the type of environment (which is important, because this is an unusual experience and may not be for everyone). The house has a rooftop patio with a lovely view out across the mountain valley. A few things to be aware of. This is a *really* tiny mountain village: there are only two (very small) grocery stores in town with limited selection, and the nearest city is 20+ minutes away by a tortuous, winding, very narrow mountain road-- so if you're planning on eating in, you may want to grocery-shop before coming to town. The house is very vertical, lots of climbing steep staircases, so it's not for small children or anyone with mobility issues. Expect lots of climbing to walk around town, and the houses are packed close together (expect to hear your neighbors). A unique experience.
