We enjoyed our stay at Emigdio's place. Mornings and evenings were spent on the patio enjoying the views and ocean with our coffee. The snorkeling was excellent right in front, and the pool area was nicely laid out. The diving board was a bonus! We cooked a few times in the kitchen, which was convenient. The master bedroom was quite comfortable, although our guests in the back bedroom were a little hot, as there was not as much ventilation, but fans were provided. It is a quick cab ride to town, although prices have risen since we were last in Cozumel 11 years ago. We rented Jeeps for a day to explore the island, and they were conveniently delivered to us and picked up the next morning. We dove one day and were scheduled to dive a second day, but sadly, the marina was closed due to the wind. Overall, it was a nice, relaxing vacation.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our time here! A truly spectacular place with GORGEOUS views. You can watch the sun rise over the jungle and set over the ocean every single day. The owner graciously let us check in early and reached out while we were there to see if we needed anything. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. It was very clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable. The wi-fi was fantastic. We did not want to leave! I hope we will be able to come back and stay here again! Thank you Emigdio for everything!

We loved staying here. It was out 5th stay on the island over the years. The ocean on this part of the island is outstanding for snorkeling and the pool is lovely. It is on the run route for the Ironman race so a perfect stay of someone in your party is competing . Communication and response time was great especially for bringing us lots of water.

Nice place and location, but host was backchanneling additional rules that were unfair. Great to go snorkeling out front, especially at night. nice and quiet and great views of ocean etc. Easy to get a cab out front to downtown / ferry (100 pesos). Nice easy walk to eat at Hotel B nearby. What I felt was unfair: •Trash left behind and fruit flies gathering, lack of accountability in response from host •Upon arrival, Host messaged to keep AC no lower than 26ºC at any time which was pretty warm and not mentioned in listing •Host said to not use elevator in emailed PDF (8th floor unit, this would be a problem for most people) •Host tried to upsell 4 additional days on 10 day booking upon first messages on confirmation •Host was reaching out saying we were using more energy than previous years despite staying within post booking host temperature request
