the property we arrived at was fairly accurate. location and response was good. But it had some very glaring shortcomings. the place is, as described, by many, rustic. no issues with that, but it had recently received a fresh coat of paint and the smell of it was pretty overwhelming. The lone split AC was not cooling and the air cooler was leaking water, so was the refrigerator. But, then the host responded by shifting us to another property as we made our discomfort known. the new property was good and we did not have any further issues and the stay went well. we felt bad when we were asked to pay some extra money for the new property, but then, good sense prevailed, and this demand was dropped. I would rate the new property as pleasant, but the kitchen cabinets need to be repaired. We have been using Airbnb for so many years and have seen better days, and this experience was new and not a very happy one. I hope this was an one off incident and am pretty sure, will not recur. thanks.

Uttam is a responsive host, we wanted to book a flat he suggested to go for cottage to my utter surprise it was absolutely worth it. rustic feels, 1950's vibe and peaceful location it has it all. Homemade food facility is available.

Host has taken effort in setting up / organzing place. I likes the way, instructions / information was posted. It was very helpful. Minor issues were looked into immediately and resolved. We had a great stay.

the location is very good and Mahalaxmi Mandir and all other important tourist places are within a range of 2/3 kms. I have decided that when ever I will visit kolhapur I will stay here only.
