The house is cute and the bedrooms are big which is nice because we were traveling with three little kids so there was lots of room for our travel crib. Lots of unnecessary nick knacks like little acorns we had to put away so our baby wouldn’t break them or eat them. The place was fairly clean. Loud highway noise at night when sleeping with the window open and no screen on the bedroom window. The hosts had supplied us with a bottle of water per person which made me wonder if the water was safe to drink. I emailed and texted both “emergency” numbers to ask if we could drink the tap water when we arrived and no one responded to me until almost 1am. Communication was extremely poor. No where to walk to especially with young kiddos so be prepared to drive, but at least it’s a short drive to beaches, and local attractions. Beautiful area otherwise. Probably would not stay again.

5 stars for the sweet guest suite and comfortable beds. Lots of utensils, bottled water, soap, clean towels Reasonably quiet 1 star Our bad experiences were the walkway to the front door needed a good cleaning. The yard was very unkempt and unsightly. The patios were too disgusting to sit out on The windows were dirty The main floors were clean but don’t run your fingers along the top of pictures or window sills that you might not be tall enough to see the dust, namely the sill in the bathroom and the little window going into the bathroom. The greasy dust on items in cupboards The oven is in dire need of cleaning. The corner behind the TV and the back of the TV stand were thick with dust. TV constantly was reloading. The many spiders Wall rotting beside shower Never met our hosts. Pictures that were shown for the Airbnb were extremely deceptive

loved our stay at the Acorn guesthouse, beautiful area and enjoyed hanging out in the backyard. highly recommend, especially for families as the house has everything you need!

5 stars on their Acorn guest home, the decor, cleanliness, stocked supplies, helpfulness and kindness of this family and their young children. Being that this was our first-time using Air BNB we weren’t too sure what to expect. We would like to say that the pictures are somewhat deceiving. The Host’s house is 20 feet away and all windows face their home and vice versa. If we were to spend any time outside, to enjoy the sun or use the backyard fire pit (which we brought our own wood) we felt that we were invading the privacy of their play time with their young kids or their yard in general. When entering the guest house, the smell of the cleaning products was very strong (although I was early, and it was just cleaned) Overall, we had a good visit with each other but because of these issues we would rate it at 3 because of the deceiving pictures and explanation that is so close to the Hosts family home and that the yard is shared with them.

Robin and Charlotte are super friendly hosts. We love to chat with them. Their beautiful, energetic and adorable kids are wonderful! We first really meet each other at the pool inside the Ainsworth Hot Spring. Their place is great and very clean and comfortable. You just feel like it is your home. The wooden furnitures are especially impressive for us. Overall, it is a very good place to stay. We will come back to stay for my next trip to Ainsworth if they welcome us.
