We had a lovely stay, with such a nice welcome of plum loaf and biscuits, milk, cheese and butter. The cottage had everything needed for a relaxing weekend away. We didn’t meet Lynn during our stay, but the communication was fabulous throughout the weekend. The chance to check in early and check out later was welcomed and appreciated. The welcome pack provided all the information needed. We could not have asked for more. We would highly recommend Pheasant Cottage.

This is a really lovely cottage and a great place to stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and it has been finished to an extremely high standard. It still looks and feels like a brand new refurbishment! The underfloor heating meant that during cooler days and nights we were always warm and cosy. There was also a log burner, had we needed it. Lynn's garden was a lovely tranquil, green space to look out on, and the excellent deck was a real sun-trap (when the sun shone!). The great view of the local church added to the sense of peaceful village life. Tealby is a lovely, well-kept village, with community shop, tea shop and great pub (serving excellent food) all within a short walk of the cottage. The Viking Way passes through the village and means there are good walks directly from the cottage. We spent a week here and had a great time!

We enjoyed our stay at Lynn's place. The cottage was well equipped with what you might need. Particularly the kitchen which had a good sized fridge, as well as oven, diswasher, microwave, hobs and washing machine. The location was good, we enjoyed a nice circular walk from Tealby. The village pub, The King's Head was very nice and did good food.

the cottage was warm and cozy, perfect for a quiet getaway. The shower! well, it's worth booking just for that! Lynn kept in touch when needed and gave clear instructions on how to get in. the welcome folder has everything you need to know about the village and local area, and the cottage is supplied with everything you would need. we would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanted to escape for a relaxing break.
