extremely expensive for what it was the floor was on such a slant the single bed was to, the room was tiny and the shower smelt of cigarette smoke, the host didn't seem to know I was booked on Airbnb.

This is a perfect spot for travelers looking for an economical option for a 1-2 night stay. Within a few minutes walk of kings cross station (👍🏻) and all the restaurants/convenience stores you could need just around the corner. It’s a relatively quiet street considering its proximity to the train station, it sits right on the edge of a small square/park which is lovely during the day but a bit dodgy to walk around at night (especially if you’re a young woman travelling alone). Relative to other options in the area, it’s really good value for your money if you’re on a budget. The rooms are tiny, quite outdated interior and the mattresses are not very comfy - but you have everything you need and the staff in the building are very helpful and available 24/7 to help with whatever you need. Definitely wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a luxury stay but perfect for anyone just passing through :)

Great location for working at the British Library. Super friendly and accommodating staff. The room was small but clean. I had trouble getting a reliable wifi connection—the staff tried to help a few times but it never really worked.
