Wonderful place to stay. Clean and perfect.

We were looking for a quick and quiet getaway from the city hustle and came across Murphy’s Law Inn in Leeds! It was perfect! The stay was so lovely, the room was adorable, spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The owners really put thought into making the place feel comfortable and like home! There is a Pub right on premises and a darling bakery and coffee shop across the street. The town was lovely, friendly and our hosts were so sweet, welcoming and helped us with finding transportation and ideas of places to go while in town. It is a perfect central location close to Catskills and Hudson, minutes away and while we didn’t have a car, there is a local taxi service that runs until 11pm and serves the entire area. We would recommmed renting a car or coming with your own, as it is close to other great areas in driving distance. We are looking forward to returning sometime and thank Kryssy and Neil for such a great Air B&B experience!

Place was cute and clean and a good location if you’re trying to do some hiking. Had a little trouble with our check in code but it was resolved quickly. We were able to order food from the bar and they delivered it to our room. Great service!

The place is clean. The toiletries were nice. The heat didn’t work and the bathroom window was left open on a night that it was 37 degrees. A partial refund was issued after no answer during the night. The host did reply in the morning to apologize. My biggest problem was a large idling pickup truck outside my room for a good period of time in the middle of the night with loud crowd outside. Turns out that this truck swiped my car with a door and did damage. I contacted the host for any available camera footage, etc and have received no response. Side note, the room only has curtains on one side so you’re awakened to bright light in the morning. Didn’t try the tv to attest to it working. I wanted to leave a positive review for a local experience but unfortunately my stay was negative.

There were numerous major issues with this experience. The blinds let in a ton of light (one was broken), the place was very hot and A/C and fan weren’t working and the host didn’t respond to my messages, and the refrigerator was vibrating the shelf it was on making a loud noise. Typical investor who wants to get market rate, but not do the maintenance work to earn it. Don’t count on this place for a good night of rest if you can avoid it. The shower was very nice and the bed was comfortable to lay (awake) in which is why I didn’t give 1 star.
