We stayed here on our trip to climb Snowdon - I couldn’t recommend the cottage more! It was clean, cosy, and had everything we needed (including a lovely warm/powerful shower, comfy beds, hairdryer, tv, films, Netflix/Amazon prime, games to play etc). Matthew gave really clear instructions for both check in/out, and left a lovely welcome book of local recommendations etc. The park and ride for Snowdon was only 35 minutes away and only 15 minutes from the nearby town of Betws-Y-Coed so it was a perfect base for the weekend. Thank you for having us, the cottage exceeded expectations!

We booked to stay for a couple of nights while we walked up Snowdon. The cottage was easy to find and the perfect place to have as a base while we explored North Wales. There was plenty of space for four of us and we all felt like we could make ourselves at home! The living room has a big sofa which was perfect for cosy evenings after a long day out. Matthew was super friendly and made sure we had all the information we needed prior to check in. Parking two cars on the street outside was never an issue. The only small downside was that we were only left one roll of toilet paper (which for four people meant we had to go out and buy more), and it would have been a nice added touch if there was some milk in the fridge or similar on our arrival. Not necessarily a complaint, more an observation. That being said the local area has all you need with a large Co-op a two minute walk away. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend or stay again if we went back to visit!

Great little house. We stayed a weekend for walking in the area. The house had everything we needed and was warm and cosy. Matthew was responsive and helpful to a question part way through the weekend.

A warm and cosy cottage suitable for a family stay. The kitchen was excellent and the living room was so comfy! we all had great nights' sleep in the beds and no problem with parking. Lovely village within walking distance if you need to pick up a few items or a takeaway. Accessibility to ZipWorld, Snowdonia and Harlech beach- will definitely book again!

Stayed here for 4 nights over the Easter period. Easy to find, plenty of on street parking. Powerful shower and plenty of hot water which is needed after a days hiking. Kitchen looked well equipped but we didn’t use any of the facilities. Bed was too soft for us but that’s just our preference. On a Good bus and train route if travelling further a field. Perfectly adequate as a base for exploring the area, would recommend.
