An absolutely idilic spot! Great location in the heart of snowdonia. We really loved the cottage it was both cosy but had all the amenities you could want. There is a mountain right at the end of the garden which we annoyed hiking up. Would highly recommend.
Everything was great. Nice place. Plenty of toys and books for the kids. Cosy bedrooms and living room.
We had a wonderful stay at Miners rest! The cottage looks like the pictures, it’s beautifully decorated and tidy. We particularly liked the shower, great water pressure and always hot. The space had all amenities necessary for a week’s stay (including dried food bits in the cupboard). The location was very quiet and peaceful, the steam train running along the bottom of the garden a few times a day was a nice bonus and wasn’t disruptive. We managed to get a parking spot outside the house each day which was handy. The village is a great base for exploring Snowdonia with lots of great hikes and cute villages within easy driving distance. We didn’t have contact with the hosts during the stay as we didn’t have any problems, which was great. Only small downside to mention was the dishwasher wasn’t good and there were dirty plates/bowls in the cupboard because of this. Some areas had accumulated some dust and could do with a deep clean but overall we loved it! Would definitely recommend!
Really lovely tasteful and comfortable cottage. Perfect location for us visiting family.
