Fabulous Slate Miners cottage in the most fascinating slate miners hamlet. The house was very well equiped especially the kitchen and the extras that Alex left such as wood for the fire, fresh coffee, tea, biscuits, milk etc aswell as toiletries. Cosy and comfortable. Ideal for walkers and mountain climbers (40 minutes to Snowden etc) who enjoy evenings in.

A great place, very close to the village and activities around Snowdonia. The place was extremely clean and tidy. The cottage is very quaint and has fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. There are great places to walk nearby as well. It felt very homely and Alex gave very good instructions!

This is a beautiful area to stay in. The house is nice and the host provided stove wood which was great and a lovely personal touch. It was easy to get into and it a nice place to stay at.

We enjoyed Alex’s place. The place is right in the middle of pure beauty and is nicely situated for exploration right out the front door. The area is very quiet with the only “disruption” being the whinny of the neighboring horses. :) We found all the tools we needed in the kitchen for cooking. The bed was comfortable and provided nice views when waking in the morning.
