Perfect weekend at the McChord Carriage House. Deborah is a master communicator and went above and beyond to ensure our trip was a good experience. The house has been beautifully restored and tastefully decorated, beds were comfortable, and back yard was cozy for our bourbon cocktails and card playing. Couldn't ask for anything more.

My adult daughter and I stayed at the historic carriage house during derby weekend and I’m so glad we did! The derby was a little over an hour drive but that was just fine because we could take in all of the beauty along the way. Deborah messaged us before our trip to make sure we had everything that was needed for our stay. She did that and more. My daughter is celebrating her 30th birthday by doing something special every month and there was a homemade derby pie and special gift waiting. The pie is amazing! I wish that we had more time to spend at the carriage house itself because it was absolutely beautiful! Deborah and her husband have spent a lot of time with preserving the carriage house and all of the details and decorations will take you back in time. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom and kitchen have everything needed for your stay. Very easy access and private place for parking. Deborah is so very kind and communicates well. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Lovely place that was comfy and historical. The hosts were super friendly and helpful but we didn't end up needing any help, everything was there for us. We appreciated the little extras that made it feel like home.

This was our 4th stay at The McChord Carriage House and it just keeps getting better and better!!! We are really beginning to consider it our "home away from home" when we are visiting cherished family and friends in Central Kentucky! This 1902 home has been restored with such love and attention to detail -- it's like a walk back in time, but with ALL the comforts of up-to-date, modern amenities and technology! This visit, we especially enjoyed using the very well appointed kitchen to make tons of food to bring to our local family Thanksgiving dinner! This charming, extremely comfortable home has amazing energy! We also LOVE being able to walk into town for lunch, drinks and shopping! Deborah & Dale are amazing hosts, and bend over backwards to ensure our stay is simply perfect in every way!
