A lovely stay at Gavin’s for my partner’s birthday. A stunning cottage, very peaceful and homely. A really nice welcome for our dog who also loved the space and the walks around Keswick and Ambleside. There were some birthday treats on arrival which made the trip so much more special and personable. Gavin was a great host and we would definitely stay again and highly recommended.

A fantastic little cottage. This was our third annual trip there and we will definitely be back. Location is a little remote but fantastic for walking groups who don't mind driving to hiking destinations. A great pub within 10 minutes walk that does great dinners.

The cottage was cosy, spotless and well equipped for a confortable stay. The village is lovely and quiet with some great walks on the doorstep. A gear little playpark is just up the road from the cottage and the kids loved it. Gavin is a great host. Very responsive and welcoming. We have had a great stay and would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in this cosy cottage. it was comfortable and had everything we needed for our trip. Gavin was a super helpful host who gave really a clear and simple guide in advance to help us find the cottage and enjoy our stay. The location was beautiful, a short drive away from ullswater, and the local pub was lovely.

The host was very helpful in giving directions to the place and have been really flexible in late check in. Very responsive, helpful and attentive. Location is close to the hikes we have planned so it’s easy accessible.
