This room is inside Meyenburg house, which was built in the 1930's, sleeps up to 5 people there is a communal lounge with smart TV, kitchen, dining area, 1 inside and an alfresco option outside. shared bathroom facilities, wi fi included, regular free to air TV. Continental breakfast is included, each guest gets 2 towels & a wash cloth. No shoes inside, please clean up after yourself, dishes to be washed & left to air dry.

Great value for money. We stayed here as a family of 5 (3 kids, 3 years and under). There were two single beds and a bunk bed. The place was easy to find and accurately listed. Lizzie called me to confirm my arrival time. It is rare that a host has called me rather than texted, and I appreciated this. She was friendly and helpful. The premises were very clean. It is an old house but very clean. Bathroom was tidy and clean also, with lovely aesthetic touches. We didn't use the kitchen, but it appeared well-equipped. The perfect place for a quick stop on your way to somewhere else. Can't fault this listing!

You can check out our town, great views from the look-outs of the town & the mine, A railway & an historic museum, 3 pub's, The Leichhardt Hotel has several photo's of a lot of the pub's that used to be everywhere when the gold mine was in production, an art studio with local artist Roz, Visit Eric at the outdoor store for military memorabilia, a metal detector or a prospecting permit. Visit Gili's Twisted T's for tie dye apparel & Graeme next door at Collectables & Memories for a 2nd hand bargain. For a picnic head up to the No7 Dam, We have a skate park, playground & swimming pool a short walk from site. For takeaway food check out the Rainbow Café, For a coffee with your weekly read Wattle bee next Coffee store & news agency plus lots more to explore in our lovely town
Most places are within walking distance of accommodation if your wishing to travel to Rocky Young's buses travels in to Rockhampton weekdays, Local Golden Mount taxi service and The Grand Hotel has a courtesy bus
