Felmoor Country Park is a beautiful park in the heart of Northumberland and lies centrally between Morpeth and Alnwick.  There is a club house and restaurant on site, but no shop so you will need to take groceries with you.
Felmoor is just a few miles south of Alnwick, made famous for it’s Castle and Gardens, and just a short drive to the nearest coastal town of Amble. The town of Morpeth is a 15 minute drive south, and is packed full of coffee shops, bars, restaurants and a great mix of high street and independent shops. Druridge Bay is also just a 15 min drive and it's stunning in every way, with miles and miles of golden sand for as far as you can see.
You have the Cheviot hills on your doorstep and Thrunton Woods if you enjoy walking or mountain biking. Within driving distance there are lots of activities such as horse-riding, golf, cinemas, theatres, swimming pools and much, much more for the whole family to enjoy.
The closest beach provides you with miles and miles of golden sand where your dogs can run free too and is just about 15 mins drive.
The home of Harry Potter is just up the road, in Alnwick Castle and you have other fabulous castles to explore along the coast including Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh, Chillingham, Warkworth and many others.
There are villages that will delight and surprise you and gorgeous pubs, restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy some true Northumbrian hospitality.
Newcastle is the closest city which is a 40 minute drive and Edinburgh is roughly 1.5 hours drive.

A car is recommended if you wish to get out and explore Northumberland. If you are getting public transport / taxi, please make sure you bring everything you need with you as there is no shop on site.
