This is a classic A frame cabin nestled in beautiful woods near the lake shore. The upgrades are stylish and tasteful, and things are nicely maintained. We did have a few issues with our stay, such as it was cold inside when we arrived and the cabin took a long time to heat up. Also there were no blinds on the bedroom windows and the sun came at 5:30a, so did not get to sleep in on vacation. Secondly, this stay is owned by a management co called DIGS. Immediately after booking I got a request to fill out secondary insurance and register all guests. After arriving, I was repeatedly asked to "accept the house rules" when logging onto wifi, but the rules weren't posted on the website to review so I chose not to accept them. Because I didn't "accept", I was not able to view the local guidebook so I didn't receive any local advice on things to do or places to eat. It was a big turnoff, honestly. I prefer to rent from individuals, not management companies so intent on legalese.

This was a birthday retreat for my partner and couldn’t have been more relaxing. The cabin was beautiful, beds were super comfortable , everything was spotless, and the surroundings were so peaceful. It was hard to leave. Would highly recommend Moonshine Digs if you’re looking for a quiet retreat to the woods.

We loved our time here! The cabin was tastefully decorated, and so peaceful. The kitchen was by far, the most well stocked kitchen I’ve ever experienced in an Airbnb! The bed was super comfortable, everything was spotless which made it easy to settle in and relax. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Chelsea!!

This A-frame is in a cool spot! Close to the lake and great hiking nearby. The hottub was a great add especially coming in the winter. All in all it was a nice weekend getaway.
