The cabin was a comfortable place to stay during my transition to the area. Randy was responsive and very approachable. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

I could not be happier. First off, the day I came here, I got in later than I expected because I had been visiting family elsewhere. That day, straight-line winds had nailed the entire state. Randy called when I was en route to let me know the power was out and what time it should be restored, and directed me to a well-lit retail area on my route. We also chatted a bit and it was easy to see he is a friendly guy who truly cares. I hung out in my car in a parking lot for a little while until the time the power was expected to come on. I made it to the cabin….aaand….it was so cute. I’m pretty sure I said “this is SO CUTE” out loud to myself and my dog about 50 times as I brought my things in and got settled. In addition to being SO CUTE, it was CLEAN, and the bed was made up with freshly laundered linens. In the 3 months I was here, I had a couple different HVAC issues (just like any of us will have in our own homes from time to time), and when I communicated them to Randy, he came out and they were fixed ASAP. When he realized what the problem was with my AC, in addition to fixing mine, he also checked out the AC units of the other cabins to prevent the issue from happening elsewhere. He works hard to keep the lawn and cabin landscaping looking good, too. During my 3 month stay, the area had a couple of tornado warnings, and Randy texted to let me know about them each time and where to seek shelter. You’ll see him around, especially during longer stays, but not in an intrusive way. He’s very much present and works hard on his properties to keep things looking good and running smoothly. You don’t have to worry about a nonresponsive, absentee landlord with Randy. Truly, if every place I went had a Randy to rent from, that would be the dream. The yard is completely fenced in and great for pups to play. My pup and I made friends with some cabin neighbors and their dog, and the pups had lots of room to run and chase toys and each other. Each cabin has a little patio area with a picnic table and a fire pit, which was great. The wifi was surprisingly reliable and I had no issues streaming. (my particular cabin had a Roku left from a previous tenant in the main room, and I brought my own for my bedroom.) Storage space is minimal, so if you’re coming for an extended stay, keep that in mind. The laundry room is also SO CUTE, it’s huge, clean, and has newer machines (2 washers/2 dryers) that gave me no problems or concerns. Parking is right there at the cabin yard entrance and was a nonissue – plenty of room. The area: you have plenty of privacy, but you’re not isolated in the middle of nowhere. It’s quiet, whether you’ll be needing to sleep at night or during the day. You have easy access to multiple grocery stores, restaurants (local and chain), pharmacies, and retail, and quick freeway access to 70 and 470. I was surprised to find so many different spots in the area (both Ohio and WV) for adventuring, and Pittsburgh is close enough for a day trip. If my job ever brings me back to the area, Randy will be the first person I check with for lodging availability. I’d love to come back sometime for a little getaway.

Randy was easy to communicate with and a great host. The cabin was just as pictured...and the perfect size for a nice get away. Very quiet and restful. I would definitely recommend this place.....you won't be disappointed!!

The cabin I rented was very cozy and extremely comfortable and quiet, if you’re looking for quit and serenity this is the place for you.
