Colorful and cozy, this upstairs apartment is centrally located just blocks from downtown Bridgeport, Ohio but feels a little bit like the country nestled in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. Next to the Ohio river and a trip across one of her beautiful bridges is Wheeling, West Virginia. Wheeling Island is known for the Wheeling Island Casino if you feel lucky. Also, close to gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, and much more. This upstairs apartment has an open living area including a full kitchen, living room and dining area. Put your feet up in the heat/massage chair in the living room, the couch also folds out for an extra bed. The bathroom has a vintage claw foot tub if you like a good soak, also fitted with a shower. The bedroom is made for dreaming with a beachy, mellow feel and tv.

The place is just a couple miles from I-70, so very convenient for traveling that route. The space is the tastefully decorated and the bed was comfortable enough I crashed after my long day on the road despite the surrounding neighborhood noises. Other things I especially appreciated was it being dog friendly and not having a bunch of extra fees added on to the listing. The only downsides are the door not having a functional deadlock and the overall deteriorating condition of the building structure are apparen despite stylish decor and amenities.

Great little historic house. Perfectly described and matched pictures. Host was always available and in communication. Will definitely try to stay here next year when we come back!

This area is easy to get around in. Interstate 70 is just a few blocks away and I470 a few minutes. There is also parking available for larger vehicles/trucks. Unit has its own driveway.
