La Ventana/El Sargento well known for kitesurfing and windsurfing, diving fishing and spear fishing in Sea of Cortez. Go 45 minutes to La Paz, swim with whale sharks in La Paz bay, day trips to pet gray whales in lagoons on Pacific side, excellent mtn biking trails, hiking , birdwatching. Great restaurants many within a short walk, reasonable prices, and very laid back atmosphere.

La Ventana is a very local and quite place when you can walking distance to restaurants, Kijote coffee and Star market. Billys restaurant on site is very good and has takeout as well as an extensive menu for dinner. Several other restaurants are a short walk. My favorite restaurants include Radorama, Mariscos, Las Palmas, and Nomada for vegetarian dishes. Whale watching in the Pacific lagoons and snorkeling with whale sharks in La Paz bay can be arranged with us. There are extensive mountain biking trails and bike rentals available at the Bike Hub . The Ventana View is a great source of information, please subscribe to it at ventana view.com. There are 2 very nice outdoor markets on Thursday, both a short walk from Club Cerralvo. The northern beaches especially Fig Tree , Palapa beach and Rasta beach are nice for sun bathing if the wind has not picked up . Bahia de Los Sueños to the south is a very nice outing for snorkeling , lunch and a beautiful drive. Many operators offer snorkeling, fishing, spear fishing in La Ventana.
