Great way to experience both Yelapa and the surrounding nature. It’s a super quiet location but that is to be paid for by your efforts: Either a 40 minute hike (so pack light) or you take a 200-400 peso quad taxi. Bed is very comfortable. Two nights here were perfect to take it all in. Viri is a gem of a host 😊

Such an amazing place! Very good value for the accomodation. A lovely family. Very tranquil. They do charge 200 pesos/day for use of the kitchen and kitchen amenities which we didn't realise. Food and drink is quite expensive but expected for how remote this place is. Perfect are you're in the middle of the waterfall and the beach! Such a special spot. We loved our time here and works definitely recommend.

Definitely a unique and overall wonderful experience. The tent/hut was very comfortable. The very strong fan made the temperatures comfortable. I slept well. Staff was very friendly. No insects bothered me, but I did bring bug spray. I was able to arrange an ATV ride from the beach to the location because I had a lot of luggage. Otherwise, it’s an easy 40 minute walk. on my second day there, the power did go out for a few hours. I do not think that’s unusual forYelapa. Just make sure to have a flashlight and a phone battery back up. If the power does go out, you’ll probably have no Wi-Fi because of the jungle location. In my case, the power came back on, and it was no problem whatsoever. The staff arranged an early morning ATV ride back to the water taxi for me. That was very helpful. If you enjoy camping, and being in a somewhat isolated environment, this is at A+ place to stay. I’m glad I did the experience.

The grounds are nice, and it was a nice hike from here to the waterfall. The hosts were kind, as were the parrots.

Honestly just amazing if you want to be away from people. The family here is lovely, wonderful food, drinks and conversation. A few too many insects for my liking to last the full duration booked., But it is camping after all, I would recommend.
