Quaint, cute, tiny house. I felt a little big for it at times, but really appreciate the ecological, bohemian ethos, privacy and family elements.

We had such a great weekend getaway (2 nights) at this airbnb! Anie provided very detailed check-in notes which made checking-in seamless. Also we were greeted and "escorted" by her cat, Millie (such a sweetheart) a highlight for us! The space was a perfect size for us (a couple). The location is unbeatable! We were able to walk to and from downtown, which made our weekend getaway car-less, which was so fun. The outdoor toilet was a first for us (all worked well, just a little cold going to the bathroom at night outside). Thankfully there is also the indoor bathroom available the entire time too. Anie was a very responsive and kind host, it was a great experience! A great spot for those looking for a cozy, non-fancy, affordable, place to sleep in Fairfax very close to downtown!

Anie is a very friendly host. Her cottage is in a fantastic location, close to the Coffee roasters, the Good Earth, and all downtown Fairfax has to offer. The neighbor played some music outdoors but after 9 pm it was exceptionally quiet, even on a Friday night. I was grateful for this, since I work early on Saturdays. Her cat is very friendly and sweet. I found the cottage to be plenty warm with just the wall heater. While the indoor bath inside the house was clean, I didn’t find this to be the cleanest Airbnb I’ve stayed at, which was a little concerning given the times.

This place is super cute, clean, and comfortable. The location is good and it’s in a safe neighborhood. It’s definitely a unique stay with the dry toilet and cold shower attached, but they’re functional and practical and you also have full access to a bathroom in the main house. The biggest thing I noticed is getting up to/down from the loft where the bed is could be a little tricky if you’re tall or not very agile. Also parking was a little difficult to find one night. I would definitely stay again.
