A great spot for a tranquil stay on one of our favorite islands. Anya and Arlo are friends of friends and their place was a perfect place for us to land for a few days while we adventured on nearby trails and worked remotely/gave our on-island friends some time and space to work, too. Reliable WiFi + a lovely, quiet space that's easy to find with easy parking + plenty of space to cook food (we made breakfast every day with island-hatched eggs). And what's not to love about a cozy backyard hot tub and a fully tiled bathroom with hand-held showerhead? [Why doesn't every Airbnb have a hand-held showerhead? It's one of the great mysteries of our time.] My husband and I love each other immensely and still we slept in separate beds during our stay because we could (there are two comfy beds upstairs in the loft), and because "starfishing" (as our friend Kaitlin calls it) felt wonderful after some beloved vanlifing in the days leading up to our stay. Highly recommend!

We had a nice stay and enjoyed returning to Guemes after exploring Mount Vernon, La Conner, & Anacortes. The general store was much more lively than expected and seemed like a very fun/friendly place to have a meal. We had some trouble figuring out how to heat the whole home despite written instructions, but we concluded that was likely user error. The hot tub out back was the selling point for us & was worth it!

we had the most incredible time! even with accidentally getting locked out for about an hour, the entire trip was perfect! and that actually lead up to the moment of my proposal 😊 I will absolutely want to rebook this summer. very very satisfied and feel my soul is renewed. thank you all for what you do.
