We loved the location and place, but we stayed with two small children and the pilot light was out in both heaters so we had no heat. My baby and I had to sleep in the car with the heater on for part of the night to warm up - it was very cold. The overnight assistance didn’t get back to us until 9AM the following morning.

The booking was easy and the location was amazing. I do wish there was a little more transparency about the additional pet deposit up front, since the price of the rental was a premium. There were a couple of small things in the house that could have been better but overall it was a super cute and cozy house right on the sand. It was amazing to sit on the back deck and watch the sun go down, as well as the easy access to the beach, directly out the back gate. It almost felt like we had a private beach. I appreciate the quick communication with the property management office and the smoothness of the entire process.

Beautiful views from living room and kitchen looking out at Channel Islands. Staying beachfront was perfect for us with two young kids. The nightlight in the kid room was a hit too. Loved that there were sand toys and and an umbrella for the beach. Kitchen is nicely remodeled and equipped. Picnic table and courtyard were a plus. We loved the quaint character of this home. Only issue we had during our stay was the wall heater wasn’t working which in December when it’s cold overnight made for chilly nights and mornings. Thankfully we found extra comforters and blankets in the master closet. Also was missing a blow dryer so had to run to local store to pick one up for use. We used the gas fireplace which was a nice option to keep warm in the living room and were given a space heater for use when we notified host that wall heaters were not heating. Unfortunately there were communication issues with service person that was sent and issue wasn’t resolved during our stay.
