Thank you so much Patricia and David for creating such an amazing getaway experience at Birdsong on Watson and for sharing your little piece of paradise with us. It was just so beautiful and peaceful sitting on the deck overlooking the valley below. The villa itself was exceptionally appointed with everything you could need. I just loved the design which was elegant, yet very comfortable and functional. The local food hamper was sooo generous and delicious with fresh fruits, milk, butter, yoghurt, muesli, local coffee and fruit toast … I’m sure it changes with the season but it was just right for us. All in all, our stay there was just perfect in every way, we thoroughly enjoyed it and only wished we had stayed longer… we will be back. All the best Tracey and Tony

David and Patricia were wonderful hosts! Super responsive and helpful. The villa was beautiful, very private and peaceful with amazing views. Would absolutely stay again and I would absolutely recommend to anybody who was looking for a relaxing getaway!

We loved our 4 day stay at Birdsong, it’s beautifully presented and we felt right at home. The uninterrupted views from the deck are amazing, down the valley and across the beautiful countryside. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and the breakfast hamper, milk, butter and platter of fruit were very generous. The bed was super comfy with lovely linens and the bathroom modern and spotlessly clean. Birdsong encourages rest and relaxation and we look forward to returning, communication from David and Patricia was great. Can’t wait to return.

We had an excellent stay at this place! It offers a beautiful view, complete privacy, and is exceptionally clean. The place is equipped with all the necessary amenities, making it feel like a true home away from home. Highly recommended for a peaceful and comfortable getaway—five stars!

Figtrees was such a wonderful getaway. The accomodation was pristine and well equipped. The view was beautiful, especially at sunset. The reading chair on the deck was a favourite of my partner and I. David and Patricia were very responsive and kind when we asked questions. I would definitely recommend this to a couple trying to escape the busy everyday and have a few days of silence, birdcalls and peace.
