I was looking for a) a comfortable bed b) a reasonable shower c) a coffeemaker d) a strong WiFi signal and e) off-street parking and that’s what’s I got. The kitchen has useful appliances but not much in the way of equipment. The supplied towels are thin and inadequate for two people, I mean, one washcloth! The unit door lock is funky and we didn’t feel safe, area is iffy, apartment is somewhat sparse, bathroom isn’t great, sink didn’t drain properly and the mini split ductless heater didn’t seem to want to heat, we have one at home and I’m familiarize with how they work, but we ended up with no heat, which was okay as we just used the apartment to sleep, shower and eat breakfast. The washer and dryer are in a basement that was reminiscent of a Stephen King movie. Finally, as we came back to the apartment last night, a gigantic rat strolled across the pathway. We’ve paid less in this general area for a lot more.

Erlian's place is simple and pleasant. We especially like that it is centrally located in downtown Framingham. We find it so easy to walk to the place from the train station where the MBTA Commuter Rail and Amtrak stop. And it is only a short taxi ride from the Logan Express Framingham station. We often rent a car from Enterprise on Blandin Street which is a short walk from Erlian's place. so much more pleasant than getting one from the airport or out on Route 9. I highly recommend this place for it's easy access and simplicity.

Erlian is a very gracious and thoughtful host. Even though the location is just North of Downtown Framingham, it is very quite - particularly in the evenings. Erlian responded immediately to all my needs. When I needed to extend my stay for another 4 weeks and the apartment I was staying in was already reserved, I was able to reserve the 2nd floor apartment. At that point, Erlian actually initiated a conversation with the other person in an attempt to eliminate my need to move upstairs. I was very thankful for her thoughtfulness, consistent with her being such a terrific host overall. Thank you, Erlian!

Overall, this was a reasonably priced, entire place to myself, easy commute to downtown Boston via commuter rail. Some of the reviews gave the impression that the place was quite spartan, but these were all older reviews and the place is well supplied (plenty of coffee, microwave, clothes iron, TV, etc). All communication was informative, prompt, and concise. Erlian even allowed for earlier check in. The only thing to be aware of is that the unit is in an older house so you can hear passing cars/motorcycles (but it's on a mostly quiet side street), other tenants going up and down stairs can be quite loud, have to crank the AC on hot days, etc. No complaints, it was as described with a few extra amenities I wasn't expecting.
