The street and surrounding blocks have almost no through traffic, making neighborhood walks a serene pleasure. The house is located near two parks—one with ample hiking/x-country skiing—and lies within a mile of the Nobscot and Pinefield shopping areas with pizza parlors, liquor and convenience stores, pharmacies, bank ATMs, coffee, and a hardware store. Within an easy 10-15 minute drive lies Framingham's "Golden Mile" of Route 9 with several large shopping malls and tons of stores, restaurants and movie theaters, as well as access to Route 90 (Mass Turnpike) into Boston or points West. There are multiple gyms in town, such as YMCA, 24 Hour Fitness, Anytime Fitness, and Lifetime Fitness. For golfers, the Framingham Country club, Sassamon Trace Golf Course in Natick and the Sandy Burr Country Club in nearby Wayland all feature great courses.
