Arriving here is a treat on its own, vineyards wineries and gorgeous historic architecture abound! This is a lake side retreat far superior to any other. The home itself is situated on a gorgeous overlook with wrap around deck that accommodates a dining area, lounge area and hot tub. A short walk down a flight of stairs and you are on the water as you relax on the dock. Jump in the lake’s emerald waters and feel it’s soft velvety qualities melt away any stress. The amenities both inside and outside of the home are all so thoughtfully curated and fulfill any need you might have while living your best lake life. Every inch of this home is clean and full of positive energy. Every bed, chair, towel- is comfortable and perfectly suited to vacation mode. Board games, large flatscreen, high speed internet will keep any non swimmers very entertained. Watkins Glen is a short drive south of here with many roadside gems to explore along the way there and back. One could stay an entire month and not run out of activities and restaurants to explore.

Great place on the water with a dock, hot tub and a view. It seemed like everything we needed was just minutes away. Hosts were exceptional and wouldn't think twice about returning.

We loved our week at the Hosta Haven house. Location is great - very close to Watkins Glen and in the midst of many wineries. Being on the east side of Seneca Lake also made it easy to get to the waterfalls on the Cayuga Lake as well as Ithaca. The house was clean and cozy; we loved eating meals on the deck overlooking the lake and had kayaks delivered from Reagans (they'll deliver directly to the dock in the back of the house so you don't have to carry them up/down the steps!). House has three bedrooms and a half bath on the upper floor, and a full bath with shower on the lower floor next to the kitchen. Kitchen was fully equipped and outdoor grill also worked well. Our kids loved playing with the owners' cat and dog. Owners live on site and were incredibly friendly and immediately responsive to any questions. Definitely recommend staying here.
