This is a lovely little cottage, very clean and comfortable and in the perfect location. Right next to the rocky beach, a short walk along the coast footpath to the railway station where you can catch trains to numerous towns up and down the east coast. Rhona is a great host who is always quick to reply to any questions or problems you might have. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The Anchorage and have no reservations in recommending it to anyone looking at visiting Carnoustie.

We had a wonderful stay and were very lucky with the weather so had an amazing time walking along the beach. The location was perfect, stones throw from the beach and a pleasant walk into town. The cottage felt really homely, and was really dog friendly. Rhona was really welcoming and even left some Easter treats! We hope to stay again for a longer trip!
