This spacious newly remodeled 2 bedroom, 700+ sq ft stucco casita is surrounded by the Gila Wilderness. Enjoy plenty of room for your family to spread out and enjoy your vacation. The large kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, toaster, and coffeepot. The kitchen comes equipped with glassware, dishes, pots, and pans. Basic seasonings, coffee, creamer, sugar, and cooking oil are provided for your use while staying with us. An extra cot available. At the Double T Catwalk Resort, you can enjoy unobstructed views of the Mogollon mountain range from your spacious private front patio which is equipped with table, chairs, and a propane BBQ grill. This structure was originally built in the mid-1930s during the Great Depression to house the CCC boys and men who worked with conservation and development of natural resources in the area, included the spectacular Catwalk. After the CCC projects were complete, my grandfather turned the building into his hay barn for our family's ranch. In 1998, my mother repurposed the hay barn into the cabins that exist today.
