Whilst the bathroom was really clean, especially considering the shared nature, the water wasn't warm. We tried varying our approach to the shower but it never got beyond lukewarm. One of the windows didn't open, and as there was no key around I presume it was locked and the key wasn't there? Since it was rather hot it would have been nice to be able to open both windows for air flow or have some fans available. One of the sockets next to the bed was also blocked somehow, meaning it wasn't able to be used and it's more convenient to be able to charge your phone next to the bed than have to switch over between the light and charging or have it across the room. Everything was really clean though, and the kitchen was lovely, just needed some maintenance in the room.

Comfortable, clean and fresh stay. Even though the toilets/bathrooms are communal, they are kept incredibly clean. The kitchen is very spacious and there is plenty of utensils and crockery to cook as if you were doing so at home. The location is just outside of the centre - about a 15 minute walk. The bedroom itself was spacious and equipped with a fridge freezer, a sink and a TV. I slept very comfortably. I was staying for business but Mark’s guesthouse was able to provide a relaxing base. 😊

Roseland house worked well for me - just wanTed something that was comfortable clean good facilitates and well priced. It's not very personal but is well set up for travellers.
