The location of this rental is fabulous. We rented in November, and with the beach closed it was a very quiet and tranquil setting. The train station was very close and easy to access. The only challenge is that the apartment is accessed by a short series of outdoor stairwells at the back of the buildings. . . . . it is not easy to access if you have mobility challenges.

Apartment is in a great location in a beautiful town. The convenience of the beach and the train station is excellent for exploring all along the coast and relaxing at the end of a long day. Beautiful view from the lounge room/balcony; but did get quite hot in the apartment at times.

Renter beware. The good: The location is a quiet, water-front, with a short walk to the beach and village of Villefranche. Great views over the water. Train station is out the front door, although a double edged sword. The bad: The listing says all rooms have AC, however the third bedroom has no AC, no fan, and if you open the window for ventilation, the train, passengers walking to the station that is adjacent to the window, and mosquitos will keep you up all night. It took over 24 hours for a response from the host (‘Sal’ is a property manager) to address a clogged shower. The kitchen fridge was broken so only a small mini-fridge was provided, no freezer. The primary bedroom door doesn't fully shut, leaving it ajar and thus no privacy from the living room. The bedroom doors are also quite thin so don't count on sleeping once others are awake. There's very little provided (only one trash bag, no coffee pods, no beach towels, no extra toilet paper, etc.). Not worth the price.

Great location, beautiful panoramic views. Host was responsive. The fridge/freezer was not working during our stay but they did provide a mini fridge for our use. Overall, great stay!
