Ya know... If you're gonna pocket 100 bucks for a "cleaning fee" the place better be clean. As in there was a blood stain on the rocks near the doorknob and a big chocolate puddle in the freezer. Overall woulda been happier without the extra fees.

This trip was one for the books, and we appreciate you letting us into your beautiful space. The town is infectious with positive energy. They have amazing cookies and coffee (Big Blue Bear), and local beer on tap (Kern River Brewing). We hope to be back soon!

Amelia is the sweetest ever! We got a chance to chat with her and learned so much about the ranch (and the other ranch she runs! Sunset Ranch in Hollywood!) My partner and I had our two dogs with us while we’re on a digital nomad road trip. Wifi was perfect for both of us being on many work calls. The space was a peaceful getaway from the city. We admired the horses from afar on the ranch. The hot tub was the absolutely best. I know the zip line is meant for kids but it was sure fun to take a ride. And of course, the dogs loved running around the giant yard. The unit itself is one half of a duplex. It’s way bigger than I thought initially and can fit 5-6 people comfortably, I bet. We didn’t hear our next door neighbors and the Spartan is down the way, so you have a lot of privacy. The kitchen has exactly what you need. We’d love to come back next time. Would recommend to anyone to stay here! Thanks again Amelia!
