I dare say this is the best airbnb experience we’ve had - and we had many good ones! The River’s Edge cabin is so thoughtfully designed, well stocked and comfortable. Carol and Rod communicated effectively and always responded quickly. And the private river access and garden …. So spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside watching rafters go by, soaking up the sunshine, listening to the sounds of the water rushing by and overall just relaxing and recharging. Highly recommend!!!!

Such a beautiful property! Carol and Rod are amazing hosts. The cottage was wonderfully decorated. We had the property to ourselves and it was so peaceful being able to hear the river right outside our window. We will definitely be staying there again when we can take advantage of kayak/rafting and swimming in the river. Thanks for a great trip!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Kern River House rental! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the charm and warmth of this delightful retreat. The location couldn't have been more perfect, nestled right along the banks of the Kern River, offering breathtaking views and serene surroundings. The house itself was not only spacious and impeccably clean but also thoughtfully designed with every comfort in mind. The cozy furnishings and rustic decor created an inviting atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. We especially loved the well-equipped kitchen, perfect for cooking up delicious meals to enjoy on the spacious deck while soaking in the stunning views of the river. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the direct view of the river. Great spot to enjoy meals outside and watch the kayakers go by.

This home was absolutely beautiful. It gives you all you need for a relaxing getaway. The sound of the river was divine. We can’t wait to come back and reset all over again.
