The experience was awesome and the hospitality of Dende is beyond expectation. A nice person ny heart and a lively person. This is my second family in Thailand.

We stayed three nights at Dende's place but we're rather disappointed. Our bungalow was pretty filthy. Dirt on the surfaces and light switches, that have not been properly cleaned in a long time. The jungle is rather a palm plantation. The lake on the ground is nice to look at but unfortunately you cannot go inside. You can rent a pretty new scooter and discover the surroundings. I did not find the atmosphere very family-like, as it was written in other reviews at all. There were a few laid back raggae style traveller that seemed to really enjoy it, but we were not part of the group. The host and his wife helped with booking the bus and travelling organization. Thank you for that. It is a pitty though that we were left without the booked "breakfast to go" for the 6h bus ride... So it's OK for a stop if you are on your way through that area and need to rest. But nothing you have to have seen.

Cet endroit est tout simplement magique, avec la possibilité de découvrir chaque jour de nouvelles splendeurs cachées grâce à l'enthousiasme et la gentillesse de toute l'équipe. Mais le plus beau diamant aura été cette rencontre avec Dende, sa famille, ses amis, qui vous font sentir " à la maison" , au point qu'il devient très dur de quitter cette parenthèse de sérénité... Merci encore la family et évidemment, à la prochaine ;)

This place was AMAZING. The surrounding scenery was beautiful, and the property was lush, green, and well-kept. The rooms were charming, the AC worked great, and there was lots of outdoor space to just sit and chill. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, and there is always coffee and tea available. Dende and the other hosts were super helpful and friendly! Dende organized a driver to and from the hostel for us, which was very convenient (this place is roughly 45 min from Krabi airport). You can also choose to go on activities that they set up daily - we went swimming in a jungle pool, and the next day was a boat trip to some beautiful locations (places with very few other tourists too!). Everything is well-organized, and the guides are friendly and considerate. I 100% want to come back here, would recommend to anyone wanting to see some awesome nature things off the main tourist drags!
