What a wonderful place and host. Dende is a wonderful human . showed us the most beautiful places . and even played music for us . This was the highlight of our stay. Highly recommended. and the stay with the mountain backdrop is just awesome. Ao luek is very beautiful with less crowd. don't miss this place. recommend atleast 3-4 minimum days here.

Heerlijke dagen! Had in eerste instantie voor 4 dagen geboekt, ... werden er 10 Accomodatie was het meer dan waard, heerlijk ontbijt. voldoende voor een hele dag. Samen met dende en een paar andere gasten meerdere dagen weggeweest; cave's bezocht, kampvuur op het strand, zwemmen in het donker , kajakken, heerlijk!!

First of all, Dende was the reason why we came and why we enjoyed so much. He did everything possible to let us enjoy our stay. Thank you very much Dende! We had booked originally a place in the jungle accommodation, but the host got sick so we switched to this place with a free upgrade. Place was great and the host was very friendly, offering daily fresh fruits from his garden. We often communicated via phone, ‘cause his English was not the best - but it worked. We had a pleasant time, but the daily activities with Dende have been our highlight. Kanu rides, Cave walks and the local sight seeing have been great!

Me and my boyfriend booked to stay here for 2 nights and ended up staying for 5! This was one of the highlights of our trip and we will definitely be back again :) . We wanted to escape the tourist trap and find somewhere quieter where we could learn about the real Thailand and this was the perfect place. Dende was an absolutely wonderful host who is very passionate about growing tourism in Ao Luek in a sustainable way and he took us on incredible tours that taught us a lot about the community. The living accommodation itself was absolutely amazing too. You have your own private bungalow with all the amenities you need i.e. aircon, fridge, kettle etc it was so clean and all very modern. They also have a pool which we practically had to ourselves at one point as not many other guests were staying. They really try to bring guests together and we had multiple nights where Dende would play music on his guitar and made a lot of special memories. I could go on but my advice is book here now!
