This cosy 2-bedroom bungalow is situated only a few minutes' drive from the centre of Stornoway. It has its own gardens and private driveway, oil central heating, double and twin bedrooms. WiFi, TV, cleaning service and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Recently renovated throughout. Fully safety compliance. A compact 2-bedroom bungalow with a driveway, front and rear garden on the outskirts of Stornoway providing easy access to town whilst located in a more rural setting. Views over the moor to Point. Private driveway. Quiet yet only a cheap taxi ride to the town centre or flag down the bus at the gate. The official bus stop is 100m to the right of the gate.

Great little cottage, great location. Basic, but has everything you need and very clean. Close to town. We had the car and I would suggest you probably need it. Lots to see and do. Fabulous scenery, beautiful beaches close by - great for dog walking or families. The cottage is pet friendly which is not common! We hope to be back!

A great base for exploring the island. John was excellent in his responsiveness and communications and enabled a helpful early check in. The house was a little further out of stornoway than we had hoped as we were walking in to the festival site which took us an hour each way to reach the actual festival site at Lews castle. Very outskirts of town , coop etc can be reached in about 45 minutes walk. There are buses and taxis seemed surprisingly plentiful for an island and most people bring a car so not a big problem overall . House had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, comfy beds and very clean.

The house is just on the edge of town, in a peaceful location. There are stags/deer frequently seen nearby. A view over the moor to the rear towards Point and Back.

出行信息

There is a bus service that stops at the gate if you smile nicely to the driver. This is Lewis - it's all easy going. If you fancy a walk, its not too far to walk into town - about 2 miles. The huge CoOp store and the hospital are about 1.5 miles. Some guests just walk and bus. Other's get a bike. As with most of Lewis, it's best to have a car so that you can explore the whole island.
