Well - what an exquisite and cozy little house in the woods. Joanne very obviously takes great pride in her house - every object is placed with care and purpose. The kitchen was wonderfully appointed with everything one could possibly need to cook full meals with ease. She even made us some lovely cookies upon arrival 🙂 Situated in a very private and quiet area close to Saranac Lake, it's a great base location to enjoy all the beauty of the Adirondacks in very cozy style.

Great place, very rustic andJoanne is very organized and communicates well and the house is adorable. The only caveat is that it does not have A/C and to be fair, it’s typically pretty cool up there but it was hot this year so that wasn’t ideal but other than that it was great!

This cottage was a wonderful surprise! Everything was top notch and the location was perfect...very near Tupper Lake, Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. The gardens were beautifully kept and Joanne was a very gracious host. The kitchen had everything you would need to create wonderful meals. The fresh herb garden was an added bonus and the screened in back porch was perfect for dinners and game nights. Having rented many houses over the years, this one is a gem!

Indian Carry cottage is cozy, warm and inviting. We had a lovely stay. The grounds are beautiful with multiple comfortable outdoor spaces. She has a very heathy herb garden which I truly was grateful for because I love to cook with fresh herbs. The home is spotless and decorated with beautiful things. Joanne has the touch of an artist. It offers close access to the ADK hub and the lake with boats is near and quite enjoyable. We hope to return some day.

Great house, full of charm! Smart tv, tea pot in the bedroom for evening time, cozy towels, hot water. Everything you need to a weekend away. No fenced yard, but Indian Carry Rd is quiet and a nice place for an evening walk.
